Anatomy of a Rescue

In this class, the subject matter focuses on four separate documented/video-recorded rescues; two of which David (DJ) Stone has been directly involved as a Company Officer (and Battalion Chief) and two of which he is intimately familiar with from his local area. In this fast paced class a wide variety of topics will be covered as well as a first hand account evaluating what worked and what did not work well for these rescues from a Company Officer and Battalion Chief perspective. Topics being reviewed are tactics and strategies for success, command lessons that are applicable to any Battalion level commander, as well as how our firehouse culture and preparation play into a successful outcome in emergencies.
